Watch Amy - a Doctoral candidate in Sociology at UofM who spent 2 years “embedded” with various Michigan militia groups - respond to Mark Potok from the Southern Poverty Law Center(“social justice” pimps). Spoiler Alert: she doesn’t find the militia to be religious nuts, as the CNN talking head seems to be inclined to believe. In fact she doesn’t find them to be nuts at all. She finds them to be, mostly, better educated than the average citizen, family oriented, patriotic people who have a great respect for the US constitution as written by the founding fathers and who are concerned with the over-reaching of government. That sounds subversive.
You can tell she spoiled that CNN dweeb’s whole day. She just would not stay on his script.
