Is there to be no end of the gushing by MSM? Brent Baker at NewsBusters delineates the fawning far better than I want to.
Yeah, they’re both offspring of a “mixed” marriage, they’ve both felt the sting of discrimination, and they’ve both got those ears. Oh, and they’re both paradigms of logic “....Spock's cool, analytical nature feels more fascinating and topical than ever now that we've put a sort of Vulcan in the White House.”
A shame BHO’s logic fails him when he goes off prompter. And as for putting a “sort of Vulcan” in the White House: I doubt that Spock’s number one criterion for a Supreme Court Justice would be “empathy”.
PS: Charles Krauthammer called BHO’s argument to Congress that our miserable economy (which he inherited) requires us to adopt a nationalized health care plan, a cap and trade energy plan and federalized education K-BA - “the greatest non-sequitur of all time.” That’s the kind of cool logic you can believe in.
