All I can say is, Thank God I found John Rosemond when my kids were little.

Parents: Your kids don't need friends, they need parents.

Parents: If you put the kids first when they leave home you have nothing. Can you say mid-life divorce?

When my kids were little my sister-in-law was very critical of me, she thought I kept the kids on too tight a leash (figuratively, of course!). But we were able to take the kids anywhere with us, restaurants, stores, museums. Then the other side had kids and they were less than effectively disciplined. She was able to spot the difference immediately. The other kids can't go anywhere without complaints or acting up. As my kids got older and showed they were responsible for themselves, the leash became longer and longer. Now they are amazed at what I allow them to do compared to their other friends. They are both high school now and I am teaching them the last steps for them to be fully independant. Isn't that my job?

I'm not a parent, but I'd like to be someday. I have heard Michael Savage talking about young liberal parents in restaurants treating their preschoolers like their equals. He said the kids look at their parents like they're crazy.

I've also watched a few episodes of 19 Kids and Counting. The Duggar children are all well-behaved compared to most American children (except for the adult child who is supposedly rebelling, or something). I know it is edited and they can't show everything, but I'm sure TLC would air footage of the kids acting bratty if they had captured any. I've never heard Mrs. Duggar raise her voice, but her home is very structured and organized, and each child knows his or her place.

Here we are in New York City with a curriculum that 'values' teaching kids what they WANT to learn! Rules, the 3 R's, please. Kids are in charge and we humor them, allowing them to toss Michele Obama's vegetables in the trash at lunchtime, knowing they'll get chips, sodas and burgers on-demand at home.
Of course many parents are happy to feed them whatever will keep the kids quiet so they can work 2 jobs to keep a roof over the kids head. Thanks to our 'liberal' way of thinking we all lose.

You sound like that redneck radio anchor in the documentary. Sure, I felt like the voice was a little over dramatic but the message is true to the problems of so many women in power. However, I wouldn't expect you to be able to possibly understand that due to your one-sided and extremely closed-minded approach to thinking and reporting. Will your next post be about how pollution is actually a myth and it isn't at all an issue or have you already written that one?

How unfortunate it is we have become so tolerant and condone by our silence the advancement of Islam. Are we so stupid in our silence to allow our country to be overrun by a religion that sole purpose is only motivated for the advancement of Allah. To have a single religion that governs all thought and functions to the detriment of science, the arts, music, dress, women’s freedom and finally to the extermination and elimination of all other religions and peoples.

When will we find our voice to say enough is enough?

Will it be enough when a USA school system forces its employees to learn Islam or be terminated? When hospitals blare the call to prayer? When a woman can’t leave her home without a male escort? When a surgical nurse is attacked because she removed a burka to save a life?

Our whole country is quickly going the way of Detroit. When the liberals tell people that they don't need to be responsible in their lives and to depend on the gov't, the nation will die.
